Race Fans

The Pinewood Derby is approaching, here is the latest news:

The race will be held at the Stockwell gym

Weigh-in starts at 9:00 to 10:30   

January 21st, 2012 from 9am – 3:30pm
Cost is $10.00 per Scout

Our Christmas Wish Family this year is 2 adults and 2 girls (9yrs, 5yrs) with one parent working/able to work.

In years past we have split the monies between the children, staples of food and sometimes the parent(s).  To help our monies go a little further I would like to ask if each family could donate a canned good/non-perishable food item or staple (bag of sugar, flour) to help this family so there is more money to put towards their Christmas morning.

The Pinewood Derby has been changed from the 21 Jan  2012 to 14 Jan 2012 due to WEBLOS University. As of right now the race will be at Stockwell Elementry in the gym.  If this remains to be so, then we will need volunteers to assist in setting up the track as well as tear down. 

At our last Pack meeting, I talked about recharter.  Our time to get all of our paperwork in is rapidly appoaching.  I will need to get everyone's money by 12/11.  This will give me enough time to make sure that we have collected all the signatures from our pack sponsor as well as make sure that all paperwork and money is turned into the Scout Office by the due date.  If I do not get your money, unfortunately you will not be able to continue with our Pack.
